This is an email I sent to someone looking for a stakee on 2p2. I'm using this to link other people to it and hopefully get that stake!


Hi, I know you are probably finished looking for stakee's but please read on, I believe I can make us both some very good money.


My stats at 25nl (24 tabling):

Attached are some relevant graph's of my play at 25nl.

I want to move up to 50nl, where I believe I can make $32-38 plus $15-20(fpp's) an hour. If my estimations are accurate the least I'll be making is $47 an hour, while the high end would put me at $58 an hour.

I play around 20 hours a week, and am currently grinding out ~$600 dollars a week to live off. I'm in a gap year between high school and college and have plenty of free time to be coached (hopefully by you), and work at my game. The only problem is I can't risk moving up in stakes, as I use my winnings to pay for rent, bills etc.

If you look finnianp up in sharkscope and OPR (full tracking) you will see that I am an accomplished poker player in SNG's and MTT's as well. I am up over $20,000 overall from poker, I have just withdrawn a lot of it recklessly over the past year.
The difference between me and others possible stakee's is that I'm bright, highly dedicated, and am constantly working to improve my game. I have found a steady source of income at 25nl, but want to increase my hourly rate. In my opinion, this is a VERY low risk oppurtunity.If you should choose to stake me you could stand to earn a lot of money, in the region of $500 a week or more.

Played for a few hours and down $170ish. Almost doubled my worst day at 25nl. I'm not too down about it, up $326 since monday plus rb so plenty to survive on for a week. Only played 13 hours though, next week I'm going to play a lot. Hopefully over 20 hours.






Here is a graph of all my play at 25nl. I've been thinking of moving up in stakes but would need a backer. I know I can beat it but just don't have the bankroll. Constant withdrawals are killing me.

The bankroll is steadily growing. Since I started 24 tabling my BB/100 has been at 3.6, making just under thirty dollars an hour, plus $9 rakeback. I never thought I'd be earning $39 dollars an hour at 19. Happy out. This is over a 70k hand sample, so I'm pretty sure i'll be able to maintain in or around $30 total. The only problem is putting in the hours. It's so boring playing at home, the most I can play is 2 hours straight. I have two likewise degenerate bum friends that I go to the local net cafe with for 4 hour sessions, which help in getting in the hours. The only problem is that one of them is in college and can't play often. Grow a pair, get a life and dropout Will! Me and dougie are living the dream. It's only your final year, you fucking pussy.

I'm trying to live off what I make in actual cash, and saving the FPP's (around $9 an hour) for australia in the summer. My very good mate Matty just moved back there for good, so hopefully I get in enough hours to go see him. I have 75k fpp's now and make 635 an hour. Roughly 23 weeks til i go and I want 3 bonuses of 1.5k to spend so thats around 16 hours a week. I'll have to clear them all but should be alright. Livin off the cash, thats the problem.

Marathon training is going ok but it's fucking hard. Don't ever do one. The most I have ran/run? is 3 miles, and was knackered after. I have 4 and a bit months to train, not looking forward to it at all. 26.2 miles. Fuck. Why put yourself through that you ask? No idea.

Played a bit before I went away for the weekend, and just then after returning.

After 95933 hands my BB/100 at 25nl is at 2.99. So close. I've made some changes to my game in the last few weeks and have made 305.95 in 6.53 hours since my last post. The changes seem to be paying off.

Another short sesh, ptBB/100 is over 3! Love poker. And I've decided to run a marathon. For the craic.

I DID IT!!!

It took me a while seeing as I dropped down two levels but I'm finally over the breakeven run. Onwards and upwards from here on in, made $171.3 today.

As you can see I had a very swangy day. Was down over 5 BI's at one stage, and then when I had literally ten minutes left on my internet cafe time I had a huge upswung. A few sick/funny hands from today and yesterday:






I'm the player with the TJ, the AK and the JJ.

The first hand I was half laughing at afterwards.

In the second hand the only reason I got it all in pre with ak was because the villain had just joined the table, and in the first hand re-raised me huge from late position($1.25 up to $7). I had him down as a fish after that and then the hand after I decided to stand up to this new bully. That worked out well.

I love the third hand (jj vs. QTsoooooooted). Justice was served on that river. On all streets he made the wrong move in my opinion, preflop its a fold, on flop its a raise, on turn maybe ok, on river just call. At least he played the turn ok though, 1 street out of 4 is a good player at 25nl.

In what will surely become one of the most anticipated heads-up poker matches of all time, should it actually occur, Phil Ivey has accepted Tom “durrrr” Dwan’s open heads-up challenge to the world.

Dwan told Card Player about his challenge last month, and it is described in full detail in the magazine’s upcoming cover story about him, set to hit casinos this week.

Basically, Dwan has challenged anyone in the world — with the sole exception being his good friend and professional poker player Phil Galfond — to play 50,000 hands with him heads up, in either no-limit Texas hold'em or pot-limit Omaha at $200-$400 stakes at a minimum of four online tables.

"I don't get enough people to play me heads up. Even though there is more money to be made in other games, rather than playing heads up at one or two tables, it's so interesting and you learn a lot," said Dwan. "I think I might have an edge here, but it's more to have fun and gamble a bit. That's why I'm making this challenge."

If, at the end of the 50,000 hands, his opponent is up, Dwan will fork over an additional $1.5 million to pad his opponent's winnings. If Dwan is up, he keeps the profits, as well as another $500,000 from the competitor.

It hasn’t taken very long for his 3:1 odds offer to be seized upon by the other vultures of the poker community. Patrik Antonius has taken him up on his offer, and David Benjamine is said to be thinking about it.

Made $64.50 +RB in just less than 6 hours today. A bit to much of a swingy day for my liking, but can't complain. I'm surprised at how little variance I've encountered at 25nl, even 24 tabling.
The most amount of BI's I've dropped in a session is just under 4. uFR is the steadiest type of poker I've ever played. This is a graph of all my profit for 25nl hands:



I played in the 20k and 50k freerolls on sat, managed to get 24BB in wit T5 off vs. AA. Oh yeah. And in the other made a bluff so bad I didn't even have an out. I hate tournies nowadays, can't take them seriously. On a good note my online petition is going well, ten signatures already! It'll really push pokerstars to get rid of them.

Thats me shitting on the players today.

Made $222.47 in less than two hours for my best daily profit since the start of November. Hit so many sets, outdrew a few people and stuff like that. Made 15.91BB/100 over 2795 hands which I'm delighted with. My sample size is getting big enough now for me to fairly accurately estimate my hourly rate. Hopefully it'll stay above $25, including rakeback.

And 25nl. 166 up today plus rakeback of around 32. Lovin the craic. Feelin a lot more comfortable with my game, I can comfortably manage 24 tabling now. Stacking the tables makes it so easy compared to any other way.

Played for bit over three hours today and lost $80.75. Made $112 in the opening session, then took a break and played for an hour and lost a nasty 9.4 per cent of my roll. Great. Lotta sick stuff. not what I needed. Confidence shattered, might move down to 25nl again. ugh.

I've been using pokertracker HUD over the past few days and it's really helping me progress. When your 24 tabling it's nigh on impossible to get any reads, so the stats of voluntary put money in pot, and preflop raise are invaluable. These let me know if I can push them off say JJ or QQ on turn if I reraised pre with air, if they are a 12/7 I go for it. Or say I have AA on the river with a board of kjT57, if I see a 58/10 I go for a value bet.

I played for two hours yesterday at 25nl and made $3.1, whoop whoop. I played for an hour today at 50nl and won 53.65.

I'm still nervous playing there but when I was drunk I decided that I had to go for it so thats what I'm doing. I got a loan of 600 off my brother so my BR is at $1935, and I'm pretty sure thats enough. Plus I bought a 650 bonus today so in a few days I should have a BR of around 2700. Minus 600 that I have to take out soon. Hi will u fucking stalker.

Lost $153 today. Had loads of hands where I was thin valuebetting the worst hand, like overpairs, and a few two outer's after turn. Meh. Had to happen and don't feel too bad about it, even though it is over six buyins. I'm up since I came back from holiday if you include rakeback so can't complain.

BB/100 will have come down alot though, probably to below 2/100, I can't check right now, but will give an update whenI find out. I dont really mind though, as since I moved to 24 tabling I'm getting in 1600 hands an hour, plus $8 or $9 rakeback. So even at 1.5bb/100 I make $20 an hour.

I played for around 5 hours today so my new years resolution is going well.

Back From Holiday

Had a savage holiday, and am back now and off to a good start. The holiday consisted of drinking for a good few days straight, so it's nice to have a hangover break. Miss drinkin though.

Made $105 today, plus around $30 rakeback. Played half of the time at 50nl, but was playing a little scared. It's very tough living off poker and attempting to move up in stakes. The pots become twice as big and you start to think about what that money could buy you. So I think I'm going to stick at 25nl.

I'm going to learn how to 24+ table, tried it today to good effect. Belok has a good post about stacking tables that you can read here.

I've been finding it hard to put in the hours recently, as cash games are fairly monotonous. Since October I've averaged only 12.7 hours a week, which is pathetic. I am a pity. I did have a week and a half off but still. New years resolution, play at least 15 hours a week. I'll have to anyway come February, to keep supernova.

25nl is still going very well for me, with 2.87 bb/100, and $19 an hour, plus rakeback.

Cant be arsed setting myself goals for the new year, other than make enough to live off til September. I would like to get my student loan payed off too, but thats 3k euro's, which is a bollox.

On a different note, I got sponsored to play on Golden Arch Poker which is pretty cool. They gave me 1k to play on their site, but they take half the profits for some wsop thing. You can read about it here.
